Advantages of the AlpenweltCard

New since January 1, 2026: With the AlpenweltCard, you can travel free of charge on many routes in the MVV network in zones 5-12, including buses and trains between Mittenwald and Tutzing, from the first day of your vacation. You also benefit from numerous other attractive offers and discounts.

How to obtain the AlpenweltCard

To enjoy the many benefits from the very first day of your vacation, fill out the registration form on the day of your arrival or register online in advance with your participating host.

As soon as you receive your personal AlpenweltCard from your host, your vacation can begin. You can recognize which hosts offer the AlpenweltCard by this symbol:

In addition to the MVV bus and rail network, you can also use the buses to Ferchensee and Lautersee lakes in summer and the winter buses to the cross-country trails and ski resorts free of charge.

AlpenweltCard or Alpenwelt Karwendel Guest Card

Should your host not offer the AlpenweltCard, you will naturally not be left empty-handed. You will receive instead the Alpenwelt Karwendel Guest Card which also includes many reductions.  Further information can be obtained from the Tourist Information Centres .
