Start: Krün local centre - Destination: Krün local centre
As easy as the tour from Krün to Wallgau seems, it is also beautiful. Here you can recharge your batteries on a sunny winter day. The approximately one-hour tour connects the two towns of Krün and Wallgau and shows the vastness of the region in the midst of mighty mountain massifs.
We start at our starting point in the centre of Krün. Accessible via the bus stop of the same name or if arriving by car from the hikers' car park on Krottenkopfstraße. From here, follow the signs to Tourist Information Krün and turn left behind it in front of the canal, then always straight ahead until a bridge leads over the Isar canal. Now follow the path right of the canal to Wallgau. Once there, cross the B11 to get onto hiking trail number 417. At the next opportunity, turn left over the Finzbrücke bridge into Otenwangerweg and after 600 m you will pass the Kramerhof. Continue along the road and after another 400 m turn left into Krottenkopfstrasse. The road leads back to the starting point in Krün.
