Tour description

The starting point of this winter hike is the Wallgau Haus des Gastes. From the bus stop at the town hall you can get there in a few minutes following the signs. Pass the tennis courts and ice rink and turn left onto the traffic-calmed road and then right before the bridge until you cross the Finzbach stream after about 2.5 kilometres. Then follow the signs to the right in the direction of Barmsee. It is possible to walk around the Barmsee in about 1 hour. To stay on the original route, turn left before the lake, walk through the Bannwald forest and past Café Einkehr. Follow the path straight on until you reach the starting point, the Haus des Gastes.
