Bike & Hike to the Pleisenhütte lodge

Tour description

1st stage: on the bike from Mittenwald to the Hinterautal (9.5km, 110H, approx. 40min)
The tour to the Pleisenhütte starts on a bike in Mittenwald with the drive through the nature reserve Riedboden to the neighbouring village Scharnitz in Tyrol. In the centre of the village, the access road branches off in the direction of the Karwendeltäler and leads to the Isarlodge Wiesenhof (no refreshment). Keeping to the left at this point, the hike to the Pleisenhütte begins. (Bicycle lock I forget!)
Stage 2: Hike from Wiesenhof to Pleisenhütte (4.5km, 734H, approx.2.00h)
The upsand yer is moderately steep but relatively easy to walk. After the ascent, a short flat section follows, before it becomes steeper and steeper until the last section. However, the efforts are already forgotten on arrival at the cosy mountain hut at 1,757 meters, where you can refresh yourself with refreshing drinks and homemade specialties.
The bike stage of the Bike&Hike tour to the Pleisenhütte leads first via simple and wide forest paths, which in the upper part (hiking) become steeper and more challenging.
