Start: Krün village centre - Destination: Isarhorn car park, Mittenwald
Thismulti-day hut hike around the Soiernspitze offers fascinating views and dreamy landscapes. Enjoy favourable snacks and relax at the idyllic Soiernsee lakes. This challenging tour will inspire you with its diversity.
The starting point of the partly high-alpine hut hike is the hikers' car park on the Isar in Krün. From there, take the steadily ascending forest road to the Fischbachalm (partly managed) and continue via the Lakaien-Steig (surefootedness and head for heights) to the Soiernhaus or via the forest road to the Hundstall and from there on to the Soiernhaus (overnight accommodation). Those who still have enough energy reserves can make a detour (approx. 2 hrs. easy walking time) to the Schöttlkarspitze , which offers a fascinating panoramic panorama of the Alpine World Karwendel . Afterwards, you return to the Soiern lakes past the Soiernhaus. On the second day, hike along the Jagersruh trail to the Jöchel andto the Soiernspitze. After an extensive rest with a unique view of the high mountain ranges, descend to the Vereiner Alm (refreshments) and the Krinner-Kofler- Hütte . From here you first walk downhill on the forest road for approx. 45 min. and turn left at the bridge to the Jägersteig . Through the light forest and past small waterfalls the cosy path leads to the meadow bottom of the Aschau. From there, the trail leads to the Isarhorn car park. Here you have the option of taking the RVO bus back to Krün.
