The mountain bike tour from Krün to the Wallgauer Alm (1,546 m) is a secret tip among bikers in Alpenwelt Karwendel - the sometimes steep climbs are quite challenging, but a extensive stop at the cosy Wallgauer Alm compensates for the effort.
The challenging mountain bike tour begins at the parking at the Haus des Gastes in Wallgau. Pass the tennis court and turn left onto the asphalt road towards Krün until you reach the Finzbrücke bridge. Before this, turn right, following the signs to the Wallgauer Alm, along the path through a sunny meadow area in the Witter until you join path no. 450. From here, a steadily ascending forest road leads in the direction of the Finzalm. At the junction, follow the forest road, keeping to the right, in the direction of Krüner- / Wallgauer Alm. This demanding road runs up to the height of theWildbädermoos and from here there is another steep climb, always keeping to the right, up to the Wallgauer Alm.
