The round tour for mountain bikers from Krün to Gerold, over the steep Rindberg and back to Krün is a partly strenuous but extremely scenic tour against the backdrop of the rugged Karwendel Mountains in Alpenwelt Karwendel.
From the parking area on Krottenkopfstraße in Krün, go straight on and then turn left into Finzbachstraße. At the intersection with Wettersteinstraße, continue straight ahead on the elevated road to the Kapelle Maria Rast and take the next right turn in the direction of Quicken and Klais. After the level crossing, take the gravel road past the Römerweg to Klais. Pass the railway station and tennis court and follow the cycle path to Gerold, where you follow the signs to Schweizer Alple/Rindberg. After the steady climb, once you reach the top of the hill, keep to the right and cycle back to Krün along the partly steep forest road.
