Start: Wallgau North car park - Destination: Large waterfall - Walchensee
The hike from the hiking car park (north) in Wallgau to the large waterfall at Walchensee is particularly popular on hot summer days, as the well-kept hiking trail runs mostly in the shade. The highlight of the hike, apart from the sightful
waterfall,is also the turquoise-blue Walchensee.
From the bus stop "Bichl" or the car park "Panoramaweg" you start the hike. Follow the path along the road to the northern end of Wallgau, from there the shady forest path leads to the left in the direction of the large waterfall. After the descent to the district of Obernach, take the level path to Einsiedl, along the southwest shore of the Walchensee and continue over the peninsulaZwergern to the village of Walchensee.
To return from Walchensee to the starting point, the hikers' car park (north) in Wallgau, we recommend that you use the public bus connections of the RVO, which are free of charge with the Alpenwelt Card guest card.
