The hike from the hiking parking lot (north) in Wallgau via the large waterfall to the Walchensee is a beautiful trail that is popular with hikers and alternates between sun and partial shade on the well-maintained hiking trail. The highlight of the hike, apart from the waterfall, is the turquoise-blue Walchensee.

Tour description

Start the hike from the Bus stop "Bichl" or the car park "Panoramaweg". Follow the path along the road to the northern end of Wallgau, from there the shady forest path leads to the left in the direction of the large waterfall. After the descent to the Obernach district, take the level path to Einsiedl, along the south-west shore of the Walchensee and continue over the peninsula

Zwergern to the village of Walchensee.
