"Nonsensical Thursday" in Mittenwald

On Thursday, February 27, 2025 it's that time again. The traditional carnival events will be heralded in by the famous procession of the Mittenwald Schellenrührer at noon. In addition to the Schellenrührer, many other figures such as Goaslschnalzer, Jaklschutzer and Beserer can be seen. The setting for this centuries-old tradition is the historic pedestrian zone in Mittenwald.
