The first green of the year lures us to the Riedboden nature reserve today. The trained herbal educator Maria Veit takes you on tour and shows you the obvious and hidden treasures in the managed riparian forest and the Isarkie banks near the banks. She explains which plants were used for what in the past and present and which botanical rarities have been preserved in the reed soil. The Isar, with its extremely species-rich habitat, is one of the best-preserved wild river landscapes in the northern Limestone Alps.
