Open Monument Day at Kranzberg

Using examples of cable car technology from yesterday and today, it is clearly explained why our Kranzberg Summit Cable Car has been included in the list of protected industrial monuments. A technology tour with informative posters can be explored after approval when the cable car is stopped.

10-minute tours every 30 minutes between 1:00 PM and 5:00 PM

Note: The valley station of the Kranzberg Summit Cable Car is located in the alpine area. Appropriate mountain clothing and footwear are required. Admission is only granted upon request. Other areas of the cable car system are not permitted to be entered or climbed!
