Mittenwald Corpus Christi Procession

The Feast of Corpus Christi is a traditional church festival that is celebrated with a holiday service at 8 a.m. Following the service, there is a procession through the Mittenwald town center, in which the local associations, the town band, the church choir and the residents participate in their colorful holiday costumes. During this festival the streets and houses are decorated with flowering plants, beech and birch.
