Organ: Prof. Norbert Düchtel, Regensburg
The renowned concert organist and eminent university lecturer from Regensburg and Detmold, Prof. Norbert Düchtel, performs lively concertos by Italian baroque masters, which Johann Gottfried Walter, a cousin of Johann Sebastian Bach, arranged for organ. As organist at the Basilica "Unserer lieben Frau zur Alten Kapelle" in Regensburg for many years, he initiated the reconstruction of the Andreas Weiss organ and designed the concept for the new "Pope Benedict Organ".
