Wallgauer Alm is beautifully situated in the midst of a lush alpine pasture at 1,543 metres in the Ester mountains at the foot of mount Krottenkopf. Hikers and mountain bikers can enjoy a unique mountain panorama and the view of Alpenwelt Karwendel.

Enjoy the hearty snacks and refreshing drinks while admiring the incomparable view of the surrounding mountain ranges. The alpine cabin, which is open during the summer months, can be reached via a well-maintained forest path on foot or by bike.

From Haus des Gastes in Wallgau, it takes about 2 ½ to 3 hours via the panorama trail and then along a forest road to Wallgauer Alm.
