From the mountain station of the1780 m highWank you have a fabulous panoramic view of the Ester, Ammer, Karwendel and Wetterstein mountains, down to Garmisch-Partenkirchen and into the Loisach valley to the borders of Munich.

Well-developed hiking trails can be walked from top to bottom or uphill, depending on fitness and motivation.

You can easily reach the Wankbahn from Alpenwelt Karwendel by RVO bus and local bus in Garmisch-Partenkirchen or by car to the valley station of the Wankbahn.
