Walchensee Power Station Information Centre

The Walchensee power plant is one of the largest high-pressure storage power plants
in Germany. What makes it special is that there are two natural
basins at the top and bottom (Walchensee and Kochelsee), with a pipe connection in between and the generators of a powerful hydroelectric power plant at the
end.
At the power plant you will find an information centre, admission is free. Guests who are particularly interested in technology will get their money's worth here. Depending on your interests, you can plan between 30 minutes and an hour for the visit.
