Tour description

The starting point of the tour is the Mittenwald train station square. This can be reached by public transport. Follow the hiking signs in the direction of the Karwendelbahn and reach the valley station in about 15 minutes on foot. The Karwendel cable car takes you to the top station at 2,244 metres. Right behind the mountain station, the family-friendly circular hiking trail begins, presenting us with unique views of the surrounding mountain peaks over a total length of 1.1 km.

For those who want to go high up, always pay attention to the weather forecast and wear sturdy shoes! Only in good weather and clear visibility can you experience a distant view of up to 100 km. Please also always enquire in advance about the Karwendelbahn travel times.
