Start: Gröblalm - Destination: Gröblalm
The more demanding Terrainkurweg Nr. 2leads you to what is probably the most beautiful spot on Mittenwald's local mountain, the Kranzberg at 1,391 metres. Besides the fantastic view from the Kranzberg-summit our spa guests also enjoy the atmosphere at the excursion destinations Lautersee &
Ferchensee.
The Terrainkurweg around theKranzberg begins at the Alpengasthof Gröblalm and first leads past the "Schafstadl" on the hiking trail to the Berggasthof Wildensee. A short distance behind the Berggasthof, a narrow but easy hiking trail branches off, leading via the north side to the summit of the Hoher Kranzberg (1,391 m). The descent is via the south side of the Kranzberg down to the Ferchensee, one of the most popular bathing lakes in the region. Back in the direction of Mittenwald after a short while you reach the lower-lying Lautersee, where the last ascent to the Berggasthaus St. Anton begins. Down to the cosy Korbinianhütte at 1,200 metres, you reach the footpath again, which leads back to the starting point of the tour, the Alpengasthof Gröblalm.
