The Sonnenloipe from Wallgau in the Alpenwelt Karwendel is an easy to medium-difficulty loop with various entry options and offers unique views of the surrounding mountains.

The starting point in Wallgau is the car park at the Finzbrücke at the south entrance to the village or at the Haus des Gastes. At the entrance to the skating or classic trail at the Finzbrücke bridge, walk anti-clockwise across the meadows in the direction of Barmsee. After approx. 3 km you come to a fork, here you continue left always with a view of the Karwendel and Wetterstein mountains, along the meadow and past the Maximilianshof (closed) back to Wallgau.
