The circumnavigation of the Arnstock is both with mountain bikes,and with trekking-bikes to ride. The varied round tour leads over well-kept cycle paths in the direction of the south and through the idyllic Leutasch Valley back to Mittenwald.

Tour description

From the town centre of Mittenwald, the Innsbrucker Straße leads towards the southern end of the town and the beginning of the Riedboden nature reserve. The cycle path along the Isar river takes you to neighbouring Scharnitz. The following cycle path leads below the fortress ruins"Porta Claudia" and through wide fields in the direction of Gießenbach. Via the so-called Bodenstraße, you cross over into the Leutasch Valley. Through the main town of the Leutasch valley - Weidach - follow the cycle path along the Leutascher Ache slightly downhill back to Mittenwald.
