Hochlandhütte is located at 1,623 metres to the west below Wörner on a small mountain meadow and offers a beautiful view of the Wetterstein mountains with the Zugspitze and Alpspitze, as well as the Ester mountains.

Hochlandhütte is a support point for multi-day tours in the northern Karwendel and the Soiern range. But it is also a beautiful day trip destination for visitors from the Upper Isar Valley, who set out from Mittenwald on hikes and would like to descend again with ease on the same day.

In the rustic mountain climbers accommodation, refreshing drinks and typical hut delicacies provide for the physical well-being of mountain climbers and hikers.
