The hike on the Little Kranzberg Trail above Mittenwald offers a scenic nature experience. The round at Mittenwald's local mountain - the Kranzberg - is also very popular with joggers and trail runners.
The hiking tour starts at the valley stationof the Mittenwald Kranzberg chairliftand first leads along a pleasantly laid-out hiking trail to the Mountain Inn Sankt Anton. Here is a suitable opportunity for a relaxing stop on the sun terrace. Now continue downhill along a narrow but well-maintained hiking trail in the direction of Lautersee. After about 30 minutes you reach
only the fantastically situated mountain lake at the foot of the Wetterstein mountains. From the Lautersee hike along the Walderlebnispfad back to the Valley Station of the Kranzberg Chairlift. The duration of this hike is about 3 hours.
