Tour description

The starting point of the tour is the railway station in Mittenwald, which is very easy to reach by public transport . From there, the path leads along Bahnhofstraße towards the Church of St Peter and Paul. Continue a short distance in the direction of Gries, where you turn right onto Gröblweg. After a short stretch on Gröblweg, follow the signs to the left towards Kranzberg uphill. After the narrow path joins a wider path, keep right and cross the road to the Kranzberg lift. From here, follow the path up to the Luttensee car park. Then stay on the quiet road for approx. 400 metres and keep left at the edge of the forest to Luttensee.

Another beautiful hike and if you want to have another summit experience, you can hike from Luttensee up to 1391 metres to Kranzberg.
