Finzalm

Brief description / hut character

Finzalm is idyllically located at approx. 1,040 metres between Finzbach and Angerlgraben at the bottom of the south-east ridge to Krottenkopf. In the recess of the valley, the Soiern range including the Schottelkarspitze are visible. The alpine cabin is located about half way between Esterbergalm/Farchanter Alm and Krün.

Finzalm is only opened during the grazing period by the herdsmen.
Walkers and cyclists can enjoy cold drinks and taste Bavarian snacks at the rustic alpine hut.

Acces

From the parking lot at Krottenkopfstrasse in Krün or from Haus des Gastes in Wallgau, it takes about 2 hours to reach Finzalm.
