The leisurely round through the Riedboden and the Hoffeld is very popular with cyclists because you can enjoy the wonderful nature of the Alpenwelt Karwendel . In addition, the route always leads along the Isar, where there are numerous resting opportunities.

Tour description

The circular tour through the Riedboden and the Hoffeld begins at the car park at Waudl, for which a fee is charged. Via the road "Im Schwarzenfeld", Lindlahnerstraße and Riedkopfstraße, cyclists reach the nearby Riedboden area. Through green meadows and partly wooded sections, you reach an isar bridge at the southern end of the Riedboden. After crossing the bridge as well as the federal road 2 (caution!), the return journey through the wide Hofffeld begins on the opposite side. Lindlahnerstraße leads back to the car park at Waudl.

At the southern end of the Riedboden you have the opportunity to visit the neighbouring village of Scharnitz with its many natural sights, such as the Geisterklamm, the Karwendelsteg, the Adlerkanzel and much more.
