Tour description

On the easy "Riedboden" ski trails in the nature conservation area of the same name, cross-country skiers can choose between three different loop courses. The individual trails each run from the trailhead at the parking lot in Riedboden toward Scharnitz (Tirol), over three, six or eight kilometers. The three different loop courses are each groomed for skating and classic and can be partially snow-covered in order to ensure the best ski trail conditions.

Public transit

With your Alpenwelt Karwendel guest card, you can use the cross-country bus free of charge from the railway station in Mittenwald. The bus takes you directly to the start of the Riedboden trail and stops in between at Dekan-Karl-Platz and Innsbrucker Straße/Isarbrücke.
