In Mittenwald, you can admire two Spa:

The Krause garden

Here you will find relaxation for body, mind & soul... The Krause garden is named after Max Krause. Krause was a son of the famous "paper entrepreneur" Max Krause from Berlin, he was the founder of the German paper industry. Krause acquired the site in the "Kreith" around 1900 and built a park with an house according to his wishes. After his death, family Krause gave preference in the sale of the 66,000 sqm area the community of Mittenwald.
The former private garden became a recreational and leisure facility for visitors and locals alike. By an extensive road network, over of diverse plants and colourful flowers you can admire the Villa Bergheim, various fish pond, giant games, Kneipp facilities and a breathtaking panoramic view.

The park in the puit

Directly to the historic town, the Gries, there is another park, called "Puit". Formerly ski races were held here, and even one of four Mittenwald ski hills enthroned on the slightly steep terrain. Today you will find there many green attractions a fish pond and mini golf. Also, the visitors concerts and other events held at the bandstand in the summer time.
